Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, admitted that flood mostly hit the area of South and East Jakarta. It is because those two areas have many illegal buildings above the water channel and riverbank.

“The worst areas of flood are South and East Jakarta due to many illegal buildings,” he said, Saturday (2/13).
